How to Create a Custom Button in MS Office 2016

MS Office developing mode is having much fun to do with it. Developing mode is related with Developer tab which is not available when you install MS Office along with other tabs, you have to add the tab yourself by customizing the Office Ribbon.

How to enable Developer tab in MS Office?

  • Right click on any tab and select “Customize the Ribbon…” or Navigate to “File” or “Backstage View” and select “Options” then select “Customize Ribbon”.
  • After Clicking the “Customize Ribbon” you will see two list a “Choose commands from:” on the left and “Customize Ribbon” on the right side.
  • On the right side (Customize Ribbon), Find “Developer” and check the ‘Checkbox”.
  • Press “OK” and check if the Developer tab is now available beside other tabs.
